There are three ways you might arrive at a club, and they end in slightly different places.
| How you joined | Where you land |
|---|---|
| A team invite from a captain | Straight onto that captain's team, ready to race |
| A club link or club code from an admin | In the club, but not yet on a team — you'll show as a Prospect |
| Added by a commissioner | On whichever team they assigned you to |
If you used a club link or code
You're in, but nobody has put you on a team yet. That's normal and it isn't something you can fix yourself — a commissioner or captain assigns you.
What to do
Tell your club you've signed up. Prospects are easy to miss, and a rider sitting unassigned for a week is almost always an oversight rather than a decision.
If you have no club yet
You can still create an account. You'll appear as a Free Agent, which means any captain can claim you. Setting your availability and connecting Zwift makes you far more likely to be picked up — a free agent with no numbers is an unknown quantity.
