1. Race types — do this first

Tick the competitions your club runs: ZRL, TTT, Ladder, Event, Duathlon, Run. Only the ones selected here appear when you create teams and races, and only these are offered to riders choosing what they're interested in.

2. Club profile

Club name, URL slug, and logo — PNG, JPEG, WEBP or SVG, up to 2 MB.

⚠️ Careful with the slug

The slug is in every URL your club uses. Changing it later breaks links people have already saved or shared — recruitment links, bookmarks, anything pinned in Discord.

3. Communication channels

Add your Discord or WhatsApp invite. New riders are prompted to join at the end of sign-up, which is the moment they're most likely to actually do it.

4. Recruitment

Two separate things live here.

Enable Club recruiting creates an open, evergreen invite link plus a club code riders can type during sign-up.

⚠️ Riders from this link arrive as prospects

They're in your club but on no team, and they'll sit there until someone assigns them. Use it for captains and general recruitment, and check for prospects regularly. To fill a specific team, have that captain use their own invite code.

Allow riders to create teams lets riders request a team of their own, which you approve or reject. It's off by default. Beside it, "Who can ask" chooses between Riders on a team (the default) and Everyone, including prospects.

5. Registration options

Choose what riders must provide at sign-up: trainer info (brand and model) and dual power recording (power meter brand and model).

6. Rider verifications

Riders submit separate video URLs for height and weight; captains review via notifications; URLs stay private between rider and captain. You can require it of everyone or of specific categories only — the dropdown is multi-select.

⚠️ Switching this on has teeth

An unverified rider cannot be added to a line-up and cannot be claimed. Turn verification on mid-season and every rider who hasn't submitted becomes unselectable — which can leave a captain below minimum starters and unable to save a line-up at all.

Enable it at the start of a season, tell riders before you do, and make sure captains know they now have a review queue.
