Ending a loan

Loans end by themselves when the race is over. The rider returns to their own club as Available, automatically.

Releasing early

If you borrowed someone and no longer need them — one of your own riders comes good at the last minute — click Release on their row. They go straight back.

Release belongs to the borrower

The club that borrowed the rider decides when to give them back early. If you've lent someone out, you're waiting for the race to finish or for the other captain to release them.

Good practice

If you've borrowed someone and your plans change, release them promptly rather than sitting on them. Their own club may need them, and a rider held unnecessarily is a favour you'll want returned later.
