Being borrowed

Clubs are often a rider short. Rather than forfeit, a captain can borrow someone from another club for a single race — and if you've marked yourself Available, you're one of the riders they can ask for.

How it works

1. A captain at another club requests you.
2. Your captain approves or denies it.
3. If approved, you appear in that club's line-up as Active, and your own team page shows you as On Loan, naming where you've gone.
4. When the race finishes you return automatically. Nobody has to do anything.

What you should know

⚠️ Talk to your captain — the app won't do it for you

You aren't notified when you're loaned out, and you can't decline a loan from inside Drafted Racing. Your captain decides on your behalf.

If you'd rather not be lent out, or you're happy to be, tell them. It's a conversation, not a setting.

If you know you can't race at all, mark yourself Unavailable for that race. Nobody can borrow a rider who isn't available.

Two clubs at once

More than one club can ask for you. It's first come, first served — unless the race times don't clash, in which case you could ride for both.
