Adding commissioners

Admin → Commissioner. Type an email address, click Add.

What you're granting

⚠️ This is the most powerful screen in the product

A commissioner can see and change every team, every rider and every race, and can act on any captain's behalf. There's no intermediate role and no confirmation step. Add only people you'd trust with the entire club.

Two gaps to be aware of

⚠️ Adding someone doesn't tell them

No invitation email is sent. The address simply gains admin rights the moment that person signs in. Message them yourself — otherwise nothing happens and each of you assumes the other is dealing with it.

⚠️ Don't remove your last commissioner

There's currently no safeguard stopping the final commissioner being removed, including removing yourself. Do that and nobody can reach the admin panel. Before removing anyone, check at least one other commissioner remains.

Good practice

Keep at least two commissioners at all times, ideally people in different timezones. It costs nothing and covers you when one is unreachable.
